Finally I got to try out a Tenga egg! The Tenga Egg is a masturbator and is (crazy guys, those Japanese) hidden in an egg cup. I'd heard a lot about this Japanese sex toy and was curious about what I would find inside the egg. So I quickly opened it!
The packaging
I knew there were many different eggs available, so I was curious which one I'd be getting. I ended up getting the Keith Haring Easy Beat from EasyToys to review. Nice!
The outside of the egg was nicely decorated with drawings by artist Keith Haring. To open the toy, I first had to peel off the shell of the egg. Just like a real egg! After I peeled off the shell, the plastic shell opened to reveal a soft, transparent egg. In the opening of the egg there was a small packet of lubricant, along with a tube to put the lubricant in. Convenient!
Using it
After applying the lubricant, I was ready to try out the Tenga egg! The material of the toy feels very soft and pleasant. It is also very flexible and easily moves with your movements with no problems. Perhaps it is best compared to a condom. Only the Tenga egg rolls up again just as easily!
The entire inside of the egg features multiple different ribbing patterns. The same as seen on the shell of the egg. The ridges provide extra stimulation while you are doing things and move with the right hand movement. Still, I still felt a bit like I was using a kind of studded condom, but then inside out. It was certainly nicer than masturbating with a bit of lube, but maybe I expected a little more stimulation.
Conclusion
I certainly liked the Tenga egg for a little variety, but I'd expected a little more stimulation from the ridges. Perhaps a different interior would have resulted in a completely different experience. They have so many different one for a reason. The toys aren't too expensive, so if you want to get a little bit more out of your masturbation session, you should definitely give it a try!
