Yes, yes, yes! The We-Vibe Melt: We-Vibe's first air stimulator. Made by Wow Tech, the master minds behind Womanizer and We-Vibe. We-Vibe used the famous Womanizer 'Pleasure Air' technology.


The We-Vibe melt is a stimulator that handles well because of its economical design. A beautiful toy that has been thoroughly thought through. Gorgeous! I cannot wait to tell you more about this toy. Spoiler alert: the toy is delightful.

Packaging.

The package is such a sight for sore eyes. It's like unwrapping a present and I feel spoiled before even opening it. I have to say, We-Vibe understands how to impress their prospects. Every woman will be tempted by this beautiful package. It's a solid, deluxe box with a modest loop on the top. Covered by plastic, the toy is in a dedicated mold. When removing, I find a small pouch of lubricant, a charging cable, a white satin toy bag and a manual. You want to keep the box because it's so enchanting.

Specifications.

The manual says the toy needs 90 minutes to fully charge. The magnetic USB charging cable connects easily and stays put. The light on the stimulator shows it's charging. It blinks until it's fully charged. The We-Vibe Melt is waterproof. Which is great for cleaning. And get this: the stimulator can be linked to a free We-Connect app! The app promises to enable your long distance lover to control the toy. Such a cool bonus!  

The looks.

What can I say. The toy is beautiful. It looks solid and the beautiful but simple shape feels comfortable in my hand. The extraordinary coral shade and outstanding design make this a unique We-Vibe Melt toy. What you see is what you get. It feels soft and is made of silicone. Just by holding it, you will experience pure comfort and elegance. 

Ease of use.

To turn it on you briefly hold the plus- button. I am familiar with air stimulation, but when holding the Melt against my thumb, I can tell its strong air stimulator stands out. The cap wraps around my thumb and I can feel it 'suck.' I also notice that the lowest setting is pretty hard. Now that I've tested the toy on my thumb, I will get to the real thing.

The Melt has an amazing design. It wraps perfectly around my clit and I feel a firm stimulation right away. This toy may be too strong for people with a sensitive clitoris. I love clitoris stimulation so this is totally my toy. I run through all twelve settings, and granted: number 12 is pretty strong. It actually gets quite strong after the fifth setting. From there, edging is no longer an option as it gets quite intense. But that's okay. This stimulator quickly builds up to a wonderful climax. Because, really, this orgasm is unreal. Unlike other air pressure stimulators, this orgasm holds on longer and is more intense.



I want to test the toy a few more times. I also try to hold the Melt in different ways, to find out how ergonomic it really is. I think it handles delightfully in all kinds of positions. This We-Vibe toy is intended to use together. But as a happy single I love using it by myself. I also tried to link the toy to the app. It's too bad it doesn't allow you to draw patterns like with the other We-Vibes. You can adjust the intensity with the app, but that isn't any different than the +/- controls on the toy. So I'm not convinced it adds a lot, but it's a nice bonus. It may also be an exhilarating thought that a long distance lover is remote-controlling your toy. All settings are quite intense, so I wonder if the element of surprise is still there when a partner controls it.

There is a small cleaning issue. Most clitoris stimulators have removable caps, but the We-Vibe Melt doesn't. Good thing the toy is waterproof so it's easy to clean with toy cleaner and water.

Conclusion.

YES! I was sold the minute I received the box. Such a beautiful toy. Its gorgeous looks, beautiful box and of course the twelve quite intense settings, make this a perfect stimulator for women that have a hard time cumming or like strong clitoris stimulation. This stimulator is perfect for me, but I can imagine the Melt may be too intense for some women. It also seems like a nice toy to use on a partner and men: this one you just want to give as a present to your wife or girlfriend. Such a great present. 

For some toys, getting the chance to test them really makes you happy. The Melt from We-Vibe is one of them. I've been intrigued by the concept of We-Vibe vibrators from the beginning. It took me a long time to figure out how it worked.


I've since got the hang of it and I am glad that they are still innovating and trying to improve their concept. This version, with sucking feature, is definitely an example of that. Instead of just vibrating, it also offers this type of stimulation. The toy can also be operated using an app. These are two things which work really well individually. However, I'm not convinced they're going to work well together.

First impression

The Melt vibrator comes in a cardboard box with the We-Vibe's lilac and pink color scheme. There is a picture of the toy on the front of the box and there is an illustration with user instructions on the back. The box contains the vibrator, a charging cable, a small sachet with lubricant in it and a storage bag. The toy is salmon-colored and feels robust. You can charge it using the magnetic charger. It has two buttons on the top; a + and a - button. You can use the buttons to turn it on and off again, and to adjust the intensity of the suction and the vibrations. You cannot adjust these settings independently; more suction means more vibrations. Consequently, this toy isn't completely silent. The vibrations, especially, make a kind-of rumbling noise. They do, however, feel good and add an extra dimension when using this toy.

The Melt is fully covered in a soft silicone and, in contrast to a lot of other sucking vibrators, it doesn't have a loose cap attached to the top. The advantage is that you won't lose or break the cap; the drawback is that you need to be lucky enough for it to fit around your clitoris.

Onto the app. Uhm. It's fairly easy to link the Melt to your smartphone using its Bluetooth connection and the free WeConnect app. I thought I might be able to create my own patterns but was somewhat disappointed. This option isn't available. All you can do is control the suction and the vibrations. You can do this using your phone or your partner's one.

You know what, I get the distinct impression that We-Vibe developed this toy and then sat down to think about what they could add to it. How can we make this toy even more attractive? I know: an app!

It has zero added value as far as I'm concerned. Yes, you can get your partner to control it during BDSM play. However, it's not the easiest toy to connect to something and there are plenty of other remote operated toys out there which are much more suited to this purpose. Nope. I like gadgets and vibrators with apps but it feels completely redundant here.

I feel the same way about using it. Yes, the vibrations and suction are great. It is relatively easy to operate and easily makes me climax. I definitely don't have any complaints there. As a partner vibrator? Yes, it is just a bit better designed for this application than my regular sucker vibrators, so no complaints there. But my partner really didn't feel like operating an app to vary the vibrations on my clit while doing the deed. His mind was on other things. It even failed during our test-run. However, I did manage to have a great orgasm which is usually difficult with just penetration. So yeah, in that sense it does what it's supposed to do.

Conclusion

I'm not one hundred percent convinced by the We-Vibe Melt. Yes, it is a really nice product, it's well made and it gives me great orgasms. But do I think it's good value for money? Not entirely. I mean, the app functionality is completely redundant. It doesn't add a single thing. The suction is nice, but I can get that from cheaper vibrators. And frankly, I can also use those cheaper toys during penetrative sex.  If you don't have any toys with Pleasure-Air technology, you might want to consider this one. It may also be worth it if you don't yet have a couple's vibrator. But it definitely isn't at the top of my list.

In 2008, Canadian couple Bruce and Melody Murison from Ottawa brought their first We-Vibe couple's vibrator to market. The question is whether or not it actually works. Well, it definitely does!


What is a We-Vibe Melt?

The We-Vibe Melt was launched at the end of 2018. It was touted as a small 'Womanizer', intended to be used as a couple during 'penis-in-vagina' (PiV) sex. The Womanizer models, even the small Womanizer Liberty, couldn't actually be used that way. Simply because they have a very large 'mouth' that really sticks out. So the whole idea of the We-Vibe Melt is that you can 'put' the toy in between you during sex, so that the woman experiences extra clitoris stimulation, which makes it easier to cum. The We-Vibe Melt uses what they call 'Pleasure Air Technology'. It produces pulsating air pressure, making it feel like someone is gently sucking on the clitoris.

Specs and functions

Unlike all of the other suction toys, the We-Vibe Melt is made of silicone. The device is small and convenient; just 13 centimeters long and just under 3 centimeters wide. It weighs just 115 grams. You can use the + and - buttons to run through the 12 intensity modes. It charges using a magnetic USB cable. The device fully charges in 90 minutes, and you can use it for 2 hours on a full charge. The We-Vibe Melt also lets you know when the battery is low. The We-Vibe melt is extremely quiet and completely waterproof. Like most other We-Vibe toys, you can also control the Melt using the We-Vibe Connect App. That allows you to have someone else control it, wherever that person is (can be fun) and you can make your own patterns.

Unboxing

We-Vibe knows what they're doing. The box is, like all the toys from this brand, especially sleek and high end. When you open the box, the Melt lies sweetly asleep in it's little bed. The box contains a magnetic USB cable that is nice and long (90 cm). That's really convenient. It also includes a storage bag and manual with clear diagrams. The extensive manual can also be found online on the We-Vibe website. Honestly, We-Vibe leaves nothing to be desired. It's also nice that a sample packet of Pjur water-based lubricant comes with it. Just the right amount to use it the first time. The fact that it's Pjur lubricant is no surprise, because that brand is also part of the WOW Tech Group.

The test drive

My wife and I love We-Vibe and this just made our love grow. We were excited about it as soon as we picked up the box! This toy is nice and small and comes with everything you need. The Melt comes out of the box already charged, so you can start using it right off the bat. Press the + button for a few seconds to turn it on. It doesn't start on the lowest setting. You can use the + and - buttons to run through the settings. The different modes are very close to each other, which makes it almost seem as if you can change intensity seamlessly. If you hold down the + or - a bit longer, you can run quickly through the modes. 'She' thought the lowest setting felt a bit like a 'throbbing' and the highest setting was more like a 'buzzing'. But the absolute ABSOLUTE best thing about this We-Vibe Melt is that the size is perfect, and it fits perfectly between us. You really can use the Melt in every position to provide some extra stimulation to the clitoris. Controlling the small + and - buttons is a bit tricky, but - TADAAA - that's where the app comes in handy again! Don't forget to 'pair' your We-Vibe Melt with your phone. It's extremely handy. What also stands out is that the material is really nice and soft, doesn't attract much dust and is super quiet. What’s not to love? Honestly, we've found our new favorite toy! Of course 'she' can also use it solo, but unlike the Womanizer, the Melt is actually BETTER when you use it together!

Cleaning

Easy peasy! Just rinse it under the faucet! And you can use some mild soap or toy cleaner if necessary. It's so great when toys are completely waterproof.

Conclusion

Forget the Womanizer. Forget the Satisfyer. Everybody say it with me: “We-Vibe! We-Vibe!” So are there no downsides to this toy? Well, maybe one very small nit-picky thing: it's pink. And, call me a whiner, but I don't really think that's a masculine color. I'd expected a more neutral color for a couple's toy. Grey, blue, black. But pink? Really, We-Vibe?

Pink... really, We-Vibe? For a couple's toy?

Easytoys asked us, a married couple, to test the new We-Vibe Melt in exchange for an honest review. We already have several We-vibe toys in our collection, so we'll have no problem making a good comparison! The We-vibe Melt is a new suction toy that's actually quite similar to all of the other suction toys. There are just a few differences...


The Packaging

The box, for instance. Jeez, We-Vibe is so good at packaging! Getting this package was honestly so much fun. It's like unwrapping an expensive present. Both the box, the manual and the presentation of the Melt are simply gorgeous. But of course, this is about what's inside.

Experience

First of all, this is a toy that can be charged with a USB cable. The toy has a built-in battery, so there's no more fussing with batteries! Long live technology! The system also works great. The Melt is waterproof, so it's easy to clean under the faucet and that really adds to the ease of use. Bonus points for We-vibe!

The Melt is made of nice, soft material and it doesn't feel sticky. With its compact size and adorable look, it's a nice addition. 

In addition, and this may sound strange, setting 1 (out of 15) is nice and gentle. With many of these kinds of toys it's 'too much' to start off with. Fortunately this one has a nice relaxed start, but when you press the plus button you quickly notice that it has more than enough power.

Speaking of the buttons ... If you hold down the plus button, the toy turns on and starts pulsating quietly on setting 1. Press the plus button more and it will go faster and faster, with the minus button (logically) it slows down. There are 12 settings in total. So you can easily create some variety and you don't have to cycle through the entire program each time.

The Melt can also be used with the We-vibe app. That allows you to control the toy with your phone, even remotely. Other models like the Sync can be worn, so being able to switch it on and off wirelessly adds some value. With the Melt this doesn't make much sense in our opinion, because you have to hold it anyway, so you might as well just press the buttons.

So we tested it without the app. Just push the button and the heavens opened up. Wow, what an amazing feeling. The Melt is nice and gentle on the lower settings, but still very powerful. Difficult to explain, but here you can feel the price difference compared a cheaper version right off the bat.

On the higher settings, there's no holding back, you just let yourself go.

Conclusion

Just do it! If you're hesitating about buying it, just do it! It practically screams quality, the reputation of the brand is excellent and the toy itself is fantastic. You'll really be making you (or your partner) very happy!

I bought this after my previous we vibe melt (the coral pink one) broke.
I was already totally convinced and think it's one of the best air pressure vibrators I've had (and that's a number of them by the way ;-)
I keep proclaiming everywhere that every woman needs this!

My first experience with Pulse tech. I really need to get used to it and already have more than enough from the lower settings. When buying it, I didn't think about sensitivity of (the tip of) my clitoris and so that is still something I'm working out.
Ow AND remember where the - and + is, so I went too fast when I wanted to slow down, hahaha
So no doubt a mighty little device, but for me still a little exciting.

When using this vibrator for the first time, it took some figuring out exactly how the app worked and what features were available. I think it's important to note that certainly not all the features in the app are available for this vibrator. For example, there is no way to record your own vibration. However, your partner can control the device from any distance with the app. So far I have had very few problems with that and I do find it a really exciting experience to be able to involve my partner in masturbation as well.

In addition, the vibrator also feels comfortable in the hand and looks very luxurious. The motor is enormously powerful (more powerful than the Satisfyer I had lying around) so that often the lowest settings can already provide a fine orgasm.

The price is certainly not excessive for an air vibrator with bluetooth function, but compared to other air vibrators, it's still fairly expensive.

As a final score, I would give the Womanizer Melt a 7/10.
A few downsides because the app doesn't quite work out on itself, so it really takes some figuring out how to use it.

What a device!
Came in 4 minutes! 4 yes, because I was just trying to see how it works and stuff.
It is thin and nice. It also works great with a partner. So penetration is also possible while we are using this! Really great!

Amazing. The material is very soft and lies well in your hand. Small design, so good for couples play. Definitely recommended.

Gentler in air pulsing sensation than Satisfyer Pro 2 but also more intense speeds, especially at higher levels. Comfortable in hand. App only controls intensity, no other features available for this device. Works well and does the job quickly, so it’s worth trying.
