      They are good beginner clamps. It's just not really clear which way to turn for looser or tighter as you go, so it's always a bit of a guess. Besides, at their strongest, the clamps are not super overwhelming. Regular clothes pegs are stronger. Of course, this may be desirable as a beginner, but if you have a bit more experience, I might recommend something stronger.
